Press Release- A new sedan road racing series has been established: The
American V-8 Supercar Series( AV8SS ). The series will fill the void
between grassroots and fully sponsored racing efforts and is open to
nearly all naturally aspirated front engine rear wheel drive, non-tube
framed cars. The series will offer a purse at events whenever possible.
Car Spectacular at VIR held over the Labor Day weekend, September 3rd,
4th and 5th. The purse for the first event will be $2500.00 to $3500.00.
